Volunteer your time to support the causes you hold dear.
We are thrilled to announce that the Kier Foundation has adopted the Kier volunteering policy and are working on a variety of opportunities that you could get involved with to support our Group charity partner, The Trussell Trust, and other causes you hold dear.
The volunteering policy is open to all Kier employees. Every individual employee can apply for two days per year, which may be taken together or separately. You can volunteer for any project or charity you wish, and donate your time to any activity from administration to gardening to helping out at charity events.
If you would like to apply to take volunteering leave, you should discuss the request with your line manager in the first instance. Once agreed with your line manager, if you wish to take advantage of the two days paid leave per year, and/or an element of unpaid leave for the purpose of volunteering, then the special leave request form should be completed and submitted to HR Shared Services for processing
